Working with People and CPI Training

Working with People and CPI Training: 

• Working With People Renewal Requirements started August 2023. 
• All Veteran staff (hired prior to 8/2020) must have new Working With People training by January 31, 2024. 
• 3 Hour virtual Working With People renewal is now required every 3 years. 
   
•  CPI Renewal started August 2023. 
• All Veteran staff (hired prior to 8/2021) must have new CPI - Physical Intervention for Protection/Verbal De-Escalation training by January 31, 2024.
• 1.5 day CPI Renewal is now required every 2 years. 

CPI Training: Class Size Limits - Short Term: 

• Within the new CPI renewal requirements, we will have much larger class sizes through January. 
• Due to the nature of CPI training, we need to limit CPI training class size to 30. 
• Once CPI training reaches capacity, we are registering staff on Standby if they meet the prerequisites for this training. A Continuing Education representative will notify you within 1 business day of this training. Only send your staff if you receive this confirmation of registration. We appreciate your patience while we transition through these new renewal requirements.
